Back To School Information
The school office will re-open on Monday, August 21, 2023. The first day of school for students is Tuesday, September 5, 2023. Check the GYPSD Calendar for other important dates.
New Student Registration and Returning Student Verification forms are conducted exclusively online. All parents/guardians must complete a registration form or returning student verification form before their student can be registered for the upcoming school year. All students, who require transportation, must register for the school bus every year. School bus transportation service is provided at no cost for students in Grades 1-6 who reside 1 km or more from their designated school. Click here to complete your Bus Registration.
Kindergarten school supplies are provided by the school. Students will need a backpack, lunch kit and indoor shoes. Check the School Supply Lists for Grades 1-5. Please label all supplies.
The MBE School Council has arranged two fundraisers to help parents get organized for back-to-school. Check out School Start and Oliver's Labels.
Kindergarten teachers will be calling parents the week of August 28 to arrange a short 15 minute visit and give details about the Kindergarten staggered entry.
Class lists are still being finalized and will NOT be available until the Meet the Teacher event on Wednesday, August 30 from 4:00 - 6:00 p.m. Enjoy your summer break!
