Mrs. Arndt is the very definition of versatility at Mary Bergeron Elementary—gracefully filling two key roles that keep our school running smoothly and our students inspired. In the mornings, Liz brings the library to life, sharing her deep love of books and lifelong learning with every student who walks through the door. Her passion is contagious, and under her care, the library becomes more than a room full of books—it becomes a place of wonder, discovery, and joy.

In the afternoons, Liz seamlessly shifts into her role as assistant secretary, where her calm efficiency and intuitive sense of what needs to be done make her indispensable. She has a special gift for reading situations—and students—with kindness and care, often knowing what’s needed before anyone else even realizes it. Whether she’s helping a child find the perfect story or keeping the front office humming, Liz is the kind of person who quietly makes everything better. We simply couldn’t do what we do without her.
