Marlene Dahl

Mrs. Dahl is Mary Bergeron Elementary’s resident numeracy guru—and a rock-solid support for students who find math challenging. Working her magic in the Learning Cave, Marlene combines kindness and accountability, guiding students to push through frustration, celebrate progress, and grow in confidence. She believes in every child’s ability to succeed in math—and she’s not afraid to insist they believe in themselves, too.

But Marlene’s impact reaches far beyond numbers. She’s the first to roll up her sleeves and jump into whatever the school needs—whether she’s cooking bannock for the entire school on Indigenous Peoples Day, prepping supplies for Sports Day, or quietly ensuring the MBE Art Show is a hit. Her dedication, flexibility, and fierce commitment to students make her an irreplaceable part of the MBE team. With Marlene around, the job always gets done—and it always gets done well.
