Mrs. Martin may be small in stature, but she’s a giant when it comes to heart, work ethic, and commitment to student success. At Mary Bergeron Elementary, Kim is the person you can count on—no matter the task. Whether it’s a job everyone wants or one no one does, Kim rolls up her sleeves and gets it done—efficiently, thoroughly, and always with students in mind.

She strikes the perfect balance between gentle encouragement and just the right push when it's needed most. With a soft spot for the underdog, Kim is relentless in her support of students who need an extra cheerleader, advocate, or firm believer in their corner. She shows up early, stays late, and pours her time and talents into every school event and initiative—not for recognition, but because she believes every student deserves a chance to shine. MBE is brighter, bolder, and better because of Kim.
