Ms. L is a quiet force of support and stability at Mary Bergeron Elementary. Whether working one-on-one or with small groups, she moves seamlessly between age groups—adapting her approach to meet the unique needs of both younger learners and older students. With a calm, steady presence, Cheri has a natural ability to defuse challenges, create safe spaces, and help students refocus and move forward.
Often described as a bit of a school ninja, Cheri is everywhere and nowhere at the same time—always ready to jump in exactly where she’s needed, often before anyone even realizes she's there. Her approach is warm, supportive, and gently firm, with a clear focus on helping students build the skills and independence they need to succeed. Cheri makes a big impact in subtle ways—and MBE is stronger, calmer, and more student-centered because of her.
