New Student Registration and Returning Student Verification forms in Grande Yellowhead Public School Division are conducted exclusively online. All parents and guardians must complete a registration form or returning student verification form before their student can be registered for the upcoming school year.
A New Student is one who has never been enrolled in a school in GYPSD. Online registration for new students is currently available on the GYPSD website.
A Returning Student is one who was enrolled in a GYPSD school on the last day of the previous school year. Snapcodes for Returning Student Verification will be emailed to families in August. Please make sure to complete the forms online before the first day of school on September 8, 2020.
School bus transportation service is provided at no cost for resident students who reside 2.4 kms or more from their designated school.
Eligible students do not need to re-register for the school bus each year unless the student has moved or changed schools.
All new students, including kindergarten students, who require transportation, must register for the school bus.
Designated school is defined as the nearest school located within the attendance area, in which the student resides.
Due to the COVID 19 pandemic and the implementation of health and safety measures to protect students, the Division will not be accepting registrations for the bussing of ineligible students at this time.
